The dedication of our UPVC windows, doors and conservatories installation teams is a big factor in our customer base and certainly the biggest factor in winning any award. We have twice been awarded the Quantal Conservatory Roof System Regional Installer of the Year Award. A Quantal Conservatory Roof System differs from a conventional one in that a special powder coating is applied directly onto the frame, and this powder is extremely durable to the elements and UV light, the main causes of wear. This means our conservatory roofs have a life-span of at least 25 years. The reason we won the Quantal award for our conservatories can only be put down the professionalism of all the staff in our installation department, which can be seen in all UPVC installations from new UPVC doors or UPVC kitchen windows to a new swimming pool conservatory enclosure that we built in 2004. We are also a member of the Erewash partnership, an organization consisting of over 250 private firms and businesses that is dedicated to a coordinated approach to economic growth and regeneration, allowing both individuals and groups in our society to reach their full potential.

We have never believed in high-pressure sales tactics to sell our UPVC windows and doors and will not push salesmen onto you. Instead we send our home surveyors, who will simply look at the proposed UPVC work and talk about the design, UPVC products and other features available, such as DIY installation. We have always believed it is important to forward a written quotation after home surveying with all the details of the proposed installation of UPVC windows, doors or conservatories. With our conservatories we also have a photo-CAD facility to illustrate the proposed designs of different conservatories.

We have also built up a reputation for a competitive price structure, we are not a cheap company when it comes to UPVC windows, doors and conservatories but we are also not an expensive company. It can be difficult to find the right balance; we believe we know what today’s consumer wants with their UPVC windows and doors; value for money. It is always a good idea to get more than one quotation, especially for a conservatory, and if you analyze the differences you will see we are rarely beaten on a like-for-like quotation.

Our UPVC showroom and conservatory village is based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, directly in the town centre. Our outdoor conservatory village has six conservatories on display with variations on design and specification and examples of our UPVC windows and doors. While people find our conservatory site very impressive we pride ourselves that the work we install often surpasses the standard of finishing of the conservatories, UPVC windows and UPVC doors in the showroom.

We place great pride in both the range of conservatories we offer and the quality of our finished products. We like to think that we force our competitors into struggling to keep up with our conservatory range, design approaches and the quality of our UPVC windows and doors. As you will find with many other companies, we offer the typical Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian appearances, and gable, sun-lounge (lean-to), P-shape and T-shape designs on our conservatories. Furthermore, combinations of all those are possible. Our range of conservatories is expansive, but where we excel beyond others is in the ability to offer conservatory styles that are unique to you. If you need a style that’s very particular to your own requirements, it’s not a problem as we offer bespoke conservatory designs – for example if you need an especially large span construction or have a space of unusual dimensions. Not only that, but because of recent advances in design and technology self-installation of UPVC windows, doors and conservatories has never been easier – we offer you the chance to construct your own conservatory, or install your own windows and doors. Obviously DIY construction requires a certain amount of DIY experience and skills, such as general assembly, fixing, joinery and glazing, however the benefits of a DIY approach to UPVC windows, doors and conservatories are major and numerous.

Of course we are not exclusively a conservatory orientated company; we are also highly skilled at installing all the UPVC products in our wide range of windows and doors, as well as an extensive knowledge of and innovative approach to UPVC fascias and soffits. As with our conservatories, designs and styles are extensive and we have a beautiful array of decorative glass that can complement perfectly the feel of a house.

The best way to get a feel for Lifestyle is to view some of the conservatory installations we have previously done, this way you can see why we choose to rely on recommendation rather than heavy marketing campaigns for any new business for conservatories, windows and doors that we receive. We also strongly believe that the standard of our work on-site is better than those conservatories, windows and doors on display in the showroom, so visiting a site will help you to see the standards we like to set.

Where we really set ourselves apart from every other window, door and conservatory company and a predominant reason, we believe, for our winning the Customer Care Award, is that we make a point of thinking of every minor detail about a conservatory or any other product and raise our concerns at the earliest opportunity to our customers. For example, a detail that is often overlooked is ventilation. Because modern homes are so well heated and insulated condensation results and degradation is often caused to the materials from which the window, door or conservatory is made. We have innovated window designs to provide better ventilation to conservatories to combat this. Also we use window boards that, as well as adding style and elegance to your window fitting and conservatory interior, are scratch, heat and moisture resistant. This is just one detail from a plethora of others which need addressing before deciding on a conservatory, and which we make sure will be discussed.

There’s no doubt that choosing a conservatory, or even to have a set of windows and doors replaced, is a major decision that needs due consideration and you need to get it right as you’ll have to live with the result for years to come. To this end we have compiled a list of our top ten tips of issues that need to be addressed before you jump in at the deep end, from sources such as interior designers, architects and gardening experts. This list, along with every other feature of Lifestyle Windows, Doors and Conservatories, is contained within this website. Please feel free to browse our pages and do not hesitate to contact us if you see anything you like or have any questions at all.
