Replacement fascias and soffits are the features that are most often overlooked by people as they do not inspire the same glamour or hold the same attractiveness as windows, doors and conservatories. Of course this is because the fascia boards are not as immediately visible as the other features mentioned, but they are nevertheless a particularly important aspect of the home and they need careful attention if your home is to look its best and drain most efficiently. As with all our other products fascias and soffits (more specifically fascia and soffit boards) are made from PVCU and so do not rot or flake the way a wooden fascia would. Also fascia boards have a much longer lifespan than their wooden counterparts and so will provide you with security and peace of mind for years to come. Finally they save you money on repeatedly painting your home to improve the appearance and can even add value to your property.

You can view examples of our work on fascias and soffits in the gallery, and you only need to go out onto the street to compare the aesthetic and physical quality of our work with that on other houses whose fascias and soffits are derived from timber and will eventually decay. Fascias and soffits, or as they are increasingly being called, replacement roofline systems, instantly but subtly improve the look of a property while providing a cost effective maintenance free solution to traditional timbers.

As with all of our other products, we appreciate that there is an aesthetic aspect to be considered and so our fascia boards used in the roofline systems are available in wood-grain and coloured finishes to meet individual taste and complement the look of your home. Our perspective on the issue is that it is always better to have full replacement of timber fascias and soffits rather than merely covering them up as doing the latter has severely negative aesthetic repercussions. Therefore our specification includes that all timbers should be replaced with heavy duty fascia board, among other things (see section on replacement roofline system). Replacement fascia boards do not require backing timber, but simply nail onto joists, and while cover boards can be effective, as has been mentioned the aesthetics can often be displeasing and the lifespan, while still ten years, is low compared to that of completely new replacement boards.

Also part of our specification is a possible replacement of the entire property’s rainwater system which is available in round, square or ogee style and can be coloured white, black, brown or caramel. Furthermore, right now on all replacement roofline orders placed you will receive free guttering and down pipes in a choice of colours and styles.

Box ends are the part of the roofline at the bottom of a gable end and they are important to get the best results visually for your new or replacement fascias and soffits. Box end section is a double-edged fascia board that is often twice the size of a standard fascia board. If all this is getting slightly technical, you can see examples of everything discussed here in the various other sections regarding fascias, soffits, fascia boards and everything else to do with roofline systems.

One aspect of our business we will unfortunately be unable to give you an online quote for is replacement fascias and soffits (roofline systems) because one of the key points about installing replacement fascia and soffit boards and all the work that goes with roofline systems is that access is needed to the roofline, so to get an accurate quote an actual site visit is required. To gain access one of two methods can be utilised. The first is our capable staging system which is erected on site by the installers, although this method has its limitations. The other method is to use scaffolding, which is less limited but does have an effect on the quote you will be given. For more information on this see the ‘access’ section of replacement fascias and soffits on this site.

Prices are available in the ‘price examples’ section of this website, to give you some guidelines as to what fascias and soffits and the variations of fascia boards and every other aspect associated with fascias and soffits are likely to cost, and the difference scaffolding is likely to make to the quote.
