Bi-folding / Concertina door combinations are a very popular choice of door for conservatories, existing door apertures or major alterations to a property such as extensions. 

The popularity of Bi-folding doors has been fuelled in recent years by articles in glossy magazines and home improvement programs regularly seen on numerous television channels.

Once Bi-folding doors have been seen it’s almost impossible to find any other kind of door that offers the same appearance or benefits, weather it be an open aperture between the house and a conservatory where almost 90% of the aperture can be opened up or an external door bringing the outdoors indoors bi-folding doors are around to stay !!

The most popular option is for the bifold doors to be supplied in UPVC and with new slim-line profiles, recessed thresholds and bespoke hardware mean you can have a door that adds a real WOW factor to any room without costing the earth !!! 

Our range of bi-folding doors are competitively priced but differ from conventional PVCU bi-folding doors because they do not have large UPVC bi-folding door frames and we have different threshold options to recess the track/threshold into the floor – basically you can get all the benefits you would expect from an aluminium bi-folding door without the price tag!!!

Low / Recessed Threshold Track: 

• The Bi-folding aluminium track and threshold is 52mm high but 45mm can be recessed into the floor (By removing the external course of bricks where the Bi-folding door would normally be seated) creating a flush track system that is especially suitable for internal bi-folding sliding doors installed between the house and conservatory where a continuous floor level is required.
