Our wooden conservatory designs and timber walled conservatories bring together all the benefits of our range of windows and doors and finishes them with the perfect partner, the Quantal conservatory roof system. All our fully bespoke wooden conservatories are available in a choice of finishes to suit your personal preference or to complement your property.

All our wooden conservatories are bespoke (made to measure), we don’t use any modular or set sizes so we can tailor your chosen style to your specific dimensions.

We can match both the timber walling and Quantal powder coated aluminium roof system finishes to any RAL colour that meets your specification for a wooden conservatory of your choice.

We don’t look to “sell” you a wooden conservatory, as we employ no salesmen! We take a lot of pride in our approach to sales offering detailed written quotations including PHOTO CAD drawings and product information so you have everything you need to make an informed decision in your own time. We recommend visiting our conservatory village to get a real feel for the products, size and options available for any type of wooden conservatory. Many customers enjoy a visit to see a wooden conservatory we have previously installed at a customers house or even a factory visit.

We can take on as little or as much work as you require, while most of our customers would prefer we do the complete build including the internal finishing some customers build there own base or prefer to handle the internal works such as tiling and plastering. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated team who take pride in their work. Many members of the team have been with us for a substantial time, one of our builders recently commented that he had built over 600 bases in his time with Lifestyle.

Typically our wooden conservatory service would include:

• Advice on style, size, specification and roof glazing
• A detailed written quotation including PHOTO CAD drawings and product information
• A possible meeting at our showroom or a previous customer's property
• Arranging for a planning application if required (Typically most conservatories do not require planning permission and since October 2008 the planning regulations have changed to make it easier for people to build, there are several criteria to meet but basically in a detached property you can extend to 4 meters in projection and in a semi-detached property 3 meters in projection without requiring a planning application – a member of our team can advise further after viewing your property)
• Preparing the proposed location; moving drains, taps or lights etc
• Construction of the footings, base and walls
• Installation of the roof and frames (Lead flashing and window boards)
• Plastering
• Floor tiling
• Electrics
• Skirting boards
• Heating (Electric radiant heaters, radiators, under floor heating)
• Air Conditioning
• Wooden Conservatory Blinds

The paint or stain finish applied to the Dempsey product range is of an exceptionally high standard. Each timber product undergoes a 4 step finishing process. The assembled product is treated to protect endgrains from moisture ingress. A base coat is applied by flow coater and two top coats are applied to the correct micron thickness by our factory controlled spray line.

Our paint system protects the wood in three ways:

1. It protects the wood from harmful ultra-violet rays which can cause graying and coursing of the wood.
2. It protects the wood from water ingress, and being microporous allows excess moisture to escape.
3. It is flexible and it can therefore expand and contract naturally with the timber.

The benefits of factory finishing as opposed to finishing the product on site are many, some of which are:
