What is a low pitch conservatory roof ?

K2 - L2 Modular roof system

A low pitch roof system is a fixed 2.5 degree roof system which we use when the standard variable angled roof system has too larger lowest pitch. This is used when we have certain height restrictions in constructing the conservatory. A typical example would be a low eaves height, so by using the low pitch system we have more flexibility with the height of the conservatory frames.

The following pages have more detailed information and diagrams of the parts which go into making the low pitch roof system.

  • 2.5 degree pitch
  • Sculptured top and bottom caps
  • Eaves beam cover and end caps
  • Dedicated low pitch eaves beam for greater structural capability
  • One piece wall plate that doesn’t have to be prepared on site
  • Span to 4.25 meters up supported
  • Modular glazing rafters at 500mm centres
  • Glazed with superior 35mm polycarbonate available in opal, bronze, or silhouette finish
  • Polycarbonate breather tape ensures no insect or water ingression
  • Dedicated furring piece in white, golden oak , mahogany and rosewood
  • Hipp and box gutter options for greater design choice
  • 35mm roof vent for greater performance
  • Available as bespoke options
