Lifestyle
Windows, Doors and Conservatories LTD
is a small local family owned and operated
UPVC business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
We were established in 1994 and have built
a strong reputation in Nottinghamshire
and Derbyshire for quality UPVC and PVCU
(between which there is a minor difference)
conservatories, professional staff and
competitive prices. We ensure our finished
conservatories (or for a DIY design, your
materials) are of the highest quality,
leaving our customers more than satisfied.
Or if you wish to simply choose the design
from us and construct it yourself, we
deal in DIY business – DIY is fast
becoming a large part of the industry,
partly because the design of conservatories
for DIY installation can be just as pleasing
as for those installed by the company.
In turn it is because of the satisfaction
we receive from our UPVC design and installation
that we now rely on recommendations for
most of our conservatory business. These
basic principles have led to Lifestyle
receiving the Customer Care Award from
the Consumer Protection Association and
twice receiving the Quantal Conservatory
Roof System Regional Installer of the
Year Award. We are also a member of the
Erewash Partnership, an organization that
promotes economic development and regeneration
through a cooperative approach between
small private businesses, because we believe
in the principles of cooperation and working
towards common goals.
We place
great pride in both the range of conservatories
we offer and the quality of our finished
conservatories, the materials and support
for DIY installation and all the comparative
prices of our conservatories. We like
to think that we force our competitors
into struggling to keep up with our conservatory
range and quality of our UPVC products,
design approaches and the quality of our
UPVC window and door design and the prices
we offer them at. That is not to say that
we are a cheap UPVC company, as it is
impossible to offer the quality of labour,
UPVC and other materials that we do for
design and installation of a UPVC conservatory
(DIY or not) at very low prices, but we
are by no means a particularly expensive
UPVC company either. We are aware that
the most important thing for consumers
is value for money, especially when it
comes to something like a conservatory
and we have our prices set to reflect
that.
For example,
if you happened to be looking for a UPVC
conservatory suitable for construction
adjoining a bungalow, you may have been
told, or somehow be under the impression
that your options for such UPVC conservatories
are very limited. However, the days of
being restricted to having just one design
of UPVC conservatory are gone with modern
advances in design and technology (the
same is true for DIY design and installation),
and the design range you are now able
to choose from for a bungalow conservatory
is made possible by UPVC ‘Box Valley
Gutters’ (browse through the conservatories
section of this site to find out more…)
As you
will find with many other conservatory
and UPVC companies, we offer the typical
Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian conservatory
appearances, and gable, sun-lounge (lean-to),
P-shape and T-shape designs on our conservatories.
Furthermore, combinations of all those
are possible for a special UPVC conservatory
design. However, some of these are the
types of design that are normally available
from most conservatory and UPVC companies.
Our range of conservatories and UPVC products
is more expansive than most, but where
we really excel beyond others is in the
ability to offer conservatory styles that
are unique to you. If you need a conservatory
style that’s very particular to
your own requirements, it’s not
a problem as we offer bespoke UPVC conservatory
designs and DIY conservatories (see below).
For example, if you need an especially
large span construction or have a space
of unusual dimensions we are adequately
equipped to survey the area for the suitability
of your specifications and proceed with
conservatory construction.
Because
of recent advances in design and technology
self-installation (DIY installation) of
windows, doors and conservatories has
never been easier – as has been
mentioned, we offer you the chance to
construct your own conservatory from our
design range, or install your own windows
and doors DIY style. All of the conservatories
and design options that are detailed in
the above sections are available for DIY
installation. Obviously DIY construction
requires a certain amount of DIY experience,
however the benefits of a DIY approach
to our window door and conservatory design
options are major and numerous. The main
one is that DIY installation cuts out
the labour costs of companies such as
Lifestyle and so you can save a large
amount of money. DIY installation is not
a simple task, which should not be undertaken
lightly and should be considered carefully
before commencement.
Conservatories
are no longer used just as a relaxation
area. People use them as offices, playrooms,
games rooms and storage areas as well
as putting them to many other uses, and
therefore security is a great concern.
At Lifestyle we understand that and have
put a great deal of thought into the specification
of our products, providing you with the
most secure products available. Firstly,
all our windows are internally beaded,
meaning they cannot be removed from the
outside and so the window cannot be de-glazed
allowing quick and quiet access to the
property. Secondly, all of our windows
and doors have several locking points
that engage when the window is closed.
Another feature we offer is that of laminate
glazing, the type of glazing used for
shop windows, which can be optioned for
conservatories free of charge. Finally,
an area that is often overlooked is reinforcing.
Many companies supply only partially reinforced
windows and doors, however all our windows
and doors are fully reinforced as standard,
which provides multiple benefits (see
the security
section of this website for more information…)
We
are confident that our conservatories
are of the highest standard around, and
for DIY construction we supply the highest
quality of materials. In this way we ensure
that word of mouth will get round and
we will pick up more and more business
from recommendations, as has increasingly
been the case recently. So have a good
look around in the knowledge that we’re
confident we can offer you the best conservatories,
the widest range of designs and styles,
the most effective bespoke design service
available and the best quality surveying,
materials and expert advice for DIY installation
that there is
