Glazing for Conservatories:
At Lifestyle we have installed
Pilkington “K” glass in our
conservatories for years, as an effective
way of reducing heat loss. (For more information
on Pilkington “K” glass see
Conservatory Products menu!!!)
In December 2003 we put
together a glass package for conservatories
to give significant benefits over Pilkington
“K” glass. We use a glazing
combination of laminated glass with a
soft coating.
The benefits of this are:
- Laminate glass filters
up to 95% of harmful UV light, which
damages furniture, flooring and blinds
- Laminated glass is a
high security glass which is used in
shop windows – providing you with
a completely secure conservatory
- The soft coating used
on the laminated glass provides a better
‘U’ value than Pilkington
“K” Glass
- This is available as
a FREE optional upgrade

Agon Gas filled sealed units:
To further still increase
the ‘U’ values of the glazing
in your conservatory, the sealed units
can be gas filled. This is a very cost
effective way to get the very best ‘U’
values for your conservatory.
