At Lifestyle Windows, Doors
and Conservatories, as with our double
glazed windows, there are many designs
and styles of double glazed door to choose
from for the front, side or patio, as
well as the designs of surrounds and porches
that can go with them. Whether for the
front, the back, the side of your house,
the patio or elsewhere, we have door styles
to suit every home, all double glazed.
Most products from the door range we offer
are fitted using moulded, in-fill panels,
however we are increasingly finding that
a door from the cruciform and half cruciform
varieties are becoming more popular, especially
for the patio.
We can provide conventional
doors for the front, back or side entrances
of your house and also various types of
patio doors. The most popular type of
patio door are the French doors, of which
one patio door or both can be opened providing
easy access between the house and the
patio for furniture moving. Others types
of patio door supplied and installed are
Tilt and Slide doors and In-line sliding
doors, both of which have their advantages
and are popular for their own reasons.
All our doors, patio or otherwise, are
double glazed, and can be glazed with
a vast number of decorative glass designs
which is why we are confident that whatever
the look of your home or patio, you will
be able to find double glazed patio doors,
French, Tilt and Slide or In-line here
to suit them.
Our door surrounds
have been specially developed to enhance
the exterior of your home and come in
Georgian and Victorian styles. Once installed
they are easy to clean and maintenance
free, making your new double glazed door
a quick and cost effective way to instantly
give your home a lift. Also, we supply
and install door canopies that can be
tailored to match your surround or be
installed alone, and there are designs
to suit all types of building irrespective
of the property’s age. They are
manufactured from rigid glass reinforced
plastic, and as with our window boards,
window frames, and other products they
are maintenance free, only requiring a
quick wipe with a wet cloth to keep them
looking pristine.
At Lifestyle we like
to think we provide for every consideration.
One of the more aesthetic considerations
we hold in high regard is that of the
colour and finish of your chosen double
glazed products. Thanks to the many colour
options we offer, you can decide for yourself
the final appearance of your choice of
double glazed door (whether it be for
the front or the patio, as well as your
windows, conservatory, window boards,
roofline, internal and external cladding).
We offer Brilliant White (which actually
is whiter than white – this is not
just sales speak, compare the Deceuninck
white to any other and you’ll see
the difference immediately), Mahogany,
Light oak, Mahogany or Light Oak on Brilliant
White and a Whole World of Colours from
Decoroc® (a patented coating system,
which allows you to choose from a large
range of RAL colours).
We are particularly
proud of our range of decorative double
glazed glass. All our double glazed glass
in the windows, doors and conservatories
we supply and install can be optioned
as plain or decorative, and we have a
catalogue of designs to choose from. It
can be supplied in a variety of types,
some very simple and others highly elaborate
and exquisite. The types we offer are
diamond or rectangular lead, Georgian
bar inserts, coloured glass, beveled glass,
sandblasted glass, transfers and combinations
of each. Continuing the trend we have
at Lifestyle of putting the customer’s
wishes above everything else, which is
why we won the Customer Care Award from
the Consumer Protection Association, we
can even create new unique designs on
double glazed glass for the patio door
or elsewhere to meet the customer’s
requirements, as we have done in several
instances previously.
There are various
types of door hinges available (for conventional,
not sliding patio doors), chosen by the
firm on the criteria that are most important
– the amount of adjustment of the
hinge and its aesthetics. PVCU is very
heat sensitive and expands and contracts
more than you would think and so it is
essential to have a door hinge with enough
adjustment to compensate for this movement.
Whatever the product you are choosing
from Lifestyle, you can decide on every
single aspect of it down to the smallest
detail.
Of course, as with
every other product from Lifestyle, security
is a high priority, especially as doors,
even double glazed, are the first place
anyone is likely to try and gain entry
at. At Lifestyle we work hard to provide
the best, most secure double glazed doors
we can and use the latest technologies
available to us to make sure this is done.
We have put much consideration into the
exact specifications of the doors we provide
so we can be sure that security is in
no way compromised but is, wherever possible,
enhanced. In this way we can provide the
most secure doors available in a stunning
range of designs and styles, all double
glazed.
