Window Boards:
There are three options
available for replacement window boards
- Full replacement with
laminated window boards
- Full replacement with
softwood window boards
- Cover the existing window
boards with cover boards
The advantage of covering
existing timber window boards is the new
cover window boards can be fitted without
further damage to internal plaster and
decorations. When a replacement window
board is fitted it is more likely some
small areas of plaster and decoration
will be disturbed. The cover window boards
are available in a range of colours to
match our PVCU window and door system.
Laminated Window
Boards:
Window boards add style
and elegance to complement any window
or conservatory, once installed all that
is required to keep pristine condition
is a simple clean with a damp cloth and
none abrasive cleaner.
Our range of window boards
are manufactured to the highest standards
using only top quality materials. A high
pressure laminate gives a surface which
will last for years and is scratch, heat
and moisture resistant, this is bonded
onto P3 MR chipboard which is compensated
with laminate E backing, the back edge
and the underside joint is sealed with
a water resistant film.
All window boards are 23.2mm
in thickness with a bull-nose profile,
to facilitate for cut ends, a plastic
end cap to match the colour of the window
boards are used to finish of.
Five colours compliment
the range, white, light oak, Sherwood
oak, mahogany and rosewood.
The window board carries
a ten year guarantee against any manufacturing
defects.
